Feedback from Lithuania

I am very happy to participate in NORD+ program. This is practicularly useful integration, cooperation and intercultural communication experience for all participants of the project.

I would like to analyze part of homework of countries-participants – the essay „Working in a multicultural team“.

Thirst of all, I would like to praise you all for the honest work and ideas, which clearly revealed your current expertise in this area. And I dare to say that the best Essay of the project would be if all the works were compiled to one, because most of the teams took quite one-side look to multicultural team work, revealing one problematic side. Only few teams drew attention to the question  what extent  multiculturalism influences the country‘s business or activities of youth organizations.

Congradulating all the teams  in excellent profiles and video presentations I have to say that the teams were not fully prepared to Essey presentations (many of them only mentioned that the work had been done). The Commission had the impression that  the Essey was written without much enthusiasm and creativity.

Therefore, the winner of the contest is the Finnish team. Congradulations!!!  The Commission has decided that the team which has most experience has conveyed it in the most powerful form. Well done!!!

Second place went to the team of Latvia and the third to Lithuania.

Sincerest thanks to everyone for their efforts and friendship during thr visit to Porvoo. It was a wonderful time and experience.
