Please remember that we will be participating in the Product Demonstration Day at Point College on Wednesday 5.11.2014.
At Product Demonstration Day, Point College students set up fair stands for various local companies and market their products. Sometimes they have samples of the goods, others "freebies" or just giving out information about the company they represent.
What does participation mean to us Nordplus students?
It means that we will be allocated two stands at which we will represent both the objectives of Nordplus AND the countries and schools represented here.
What do you need to do?
Bring along with you to Porvoo Finland marketing material about your countries, schools, towns, country flags, places of interest for tourists to visit in your towns, videos, posters, fliers, brochures. Any good marketing material from your country will be appreciated.
Once you are here, you will work in a multicultural team to plan your stands; the look, what will be there and who will represent what and when. There are 2 stands and they can both look alike or completely different; you will decide in your multicultural teams what to do.
The team objective is to make a good representative stand and sell the "products" (countries, tourist venues, etc. that you have decided on. Your creativity and marketing skills will be developed here (as well as your multicultural teamwork skills and self-confidence).
