Multicultural teamwork topic is relatively new and stimulating discussion, not only in Lithuania, but also in other countries, which promotes democratic traditions. Multicultural environment consists of not only different nationalities, but also languages, religions, cultures and so on. Nowadays, multicultural teamwork has many positive sides, not just for people, but also for business. We have relied on the youth thoughts to reveal the theme.  It is very important to know, the view of the teenagers from our school about it. The main reason is that our project is called „Role of youth in society“. In the words, the future of the world depends on the young people. Therefore, our duty is to „send a message „ about the cooperation benefits of different cultures people and talk about it publicly, that will continue to grow into and exist in the whole world.

Lithuania is a member of European Union, and multicultural cooperation is essential to maintain a sense of community. Based on today's statistics, in every year to Lithuania arrives more and more people from other countries. There you can find not only many workers, but also many young people who want to study here or to set up a business. Therefore, great importance is the ability of managers to use all of the various elements of group effectiveness, focusing cultural diversity of the team members, taking from them a competitive advantage. On the other hand, learn to identify the (multicultural) socio-cultural differences and manage them wisely, considering the national culture as a source of new knowledge and as key to achieving competitive superiority. Effective work of multicultural teams largely affects the overall performance and success for companies or schools.

What is more, nowadays school participation in various international projects is very popular. It appears, when one country group communicates and works with other parties. This is relevant for modern society, because in this way people learn more about other nation unique cultures, languages and values. For example, now our school attends in some projects: Erasmus +, Nordplus junior, Care of Europe, Ecotourism and so on. In this way, teachers and school students are sending to other countries, to represent our school and country. Moreover, between representatives of different countries there you can find new ideas. Tolerance prevails in each project. Each person’s opinion is heard, then accepts a single conclusion and finally tries to implement the ideas in the world.

Furthermore, each country has a duty to adopt of its visitors from abroad. Of course, we can ask, why it is so important, and for whom? The main reasons are that the world needs to act as one, the total family. Although, there are so many differences between many countries and it is hard to find a main idea, but these unique differences can supplement us. There will always be those problems, which will be difficult to overcome. It is obvious that in intercultural communication raises various barriers- not knowing one, or the other thing about the people, the culture; we can slip on a flat surface. In order to prevent this, we have to work together, to be interested to learn more, not only about what is going on in our city, but also in the wide world.

To sum up, we want to say that this essay was not only about multiculturalism, but also generally about the cooperation between various countries. As we mention, we have to work together, expand our horizons and accept may be what is not normal for you. In this way, the benefits will appear not only in the business, but also for each other’s.
