Volunteering activities at the rest home of st. Dominicus. Decoration of glasses with the stained-glass paint. Theres some experiences that we got form the resthome.
What we learned from them was that the small things matters a lot.
Čižiūnų socialinių paslaugų centras. Volunteering is not about getting, it’s about giving. And all the people we where visiting they had realy special skills in art.
Specially this man. He was so exciting showing to us his painted pictures. It is so heart warming to see how passionate he is about his art. Don’t you think so ?
The only thing they need is to spend some time with somebody who is willing to listen. This experience opened our eyes, what is really going on in Rest homes and how much great stories they have to share.
